Chatter Themes

Each week we have a different 'chatter theme' to encourage language development and confidence in speaking in front of a small group.   Our younger children (Buttercups and Daisies) are invited to bring something into nursery to contribute towards our chatter theme display, and to show their friends and talk about.   For example, we may ask the children to bring in something of a specific colour or something that is made of a particular material such as wood or metal.   A list of our chatter themes is displayed on our notice board in our reception, is emailed to parents at the beginning of term, and a reminder is included every week in our weekly newsletter.
